Kevin G. Summers grew up in suburbs of Northern Virginia in a household where authors were viewed as folk heroes. When he was a small child, his mother brought him along to her master-level writing classes at George Mason University, where he sat in on lectures by John Irving, John Gardner and Susan Shreve. As he grew up, he fell in love with literature, especially the works of Kurt Vonnegut, Thornton Wilder, John Steinbeck, J.R.R. Tolkien and Stephen King.
Kevin is the author of the critically-acclaimed short story ISOLATION WARD 4, as well as several other stories set in the Star Trek universe. His short story THE BELL CURSE was the very first tale published in The World of Kurt Vonnegut under the Kindle Worlds imprint. His recent works include LEGENDARIUM (co-written by Michael Bunker) and THE MAN WHO SHOT JOHN WILKES BOOTH. He is also the co-host of the Literary Outlaws Podcast with Jason Anspach.
Kevin is an author, a farmer, a husband and a father. He lives in an 104-year old farmhouse in Amissville, Virginia with his beautiful wife Rachel and their children.
